Partners for creating equal opportunities
OFA Equal National Programme Management Unit

The Equal National Programme Management Unit (NSS) has been set up by the National Public Foundation for Employment (OFA) within its own organisational framework last year. Its main task was to prepare the tenders announced in respect of development partnerships as a first step, then after the selection of the successful tenderers they are assisted in their efforts to get indeed access to the support of the European Union. We asked Attila Balogh Programme Director about the operation of the unit and their work related to the implementation of programmes for creating equal opportunities.

The implementation of the preparatory phase was commenced by thirty nine successful development partnerships on 16th January 2005 - as stated in the Newsletter #1. You may ask which are the target groups of the supported programmes? Is the objective set by the EQUAL Programme realised by the Hungarian projects: the extension of employment and training of the disadvantaged groups?

The first Hungarian international open space conference

The Hungarian EQUAL Managing Authority is delighted organising the inaugural international conference for mainstreaming the implementation of EQUAL projects to foster the success of the EQUAL Programme within the EU, on 25-26th of October 2005 in Tapolca, Hungary.

On the common road at last!
Making friends on the kick-off conference in February

The one day program-launching conference of the EQUAL program took place on the 10th February, 2005 in Budapest. Invitations were extended to the project management members of the successful development partnerships and representatives of the member organisations - one person from each organisation.
